Allongé Dance Variations was founded in 2006 by Artistic Director Alison Bogatay.
The Greater-Hartford, CT-based Company performs, teaches and nurtures the art of dance in its many forms, providing education and inspiration through creativity and passion. The Company specializes in Spanish dance, Contemporary & Classical Ballet & Musical Theatre styles.
"Allongé" (AY-LAWN-JHAY) is a ballet term meaning “to reach or stretch”, and it holds true for this emerging company that has already received recognition for its in-school workshops, master classes and guest appearances throughout the state.
